2. Storage Compatibility
Unless explicitly ordered and certified for specialized industrial chemical storage, standard SR POLYMERS tanks are engineered primarily for the storage of potable drinking water, groundwater, municipal water, and domestic rainwater harvesting. Storing volatile solvents, strong acids, hydrocarbons, or industrial effluents in standard domestic tanks without engineering approval is strictly discouraged and voids all manufacturer warranties.
3. Foundation & Base Installation
Water has a high weight density (1,000 Litres = 1,000 Kilograms). A water tank must ALWAYS be installed on a smooth, flat, rigid, fully supported concrete base or engineered steel platform that supports the entire base of the tank evenly. Installing tanks on open iron grills, uneven brickwork, or cantilevered edges will cause base sagging, structural stress fractures, and premature failure.
